Louisiana Charter Fishing

Welcome to Ellender Charters. We offer inshore, offshore, and bow fishing trips, as well as, guided duck hunts. We fish the waters south of Houma, Louisiana. These waters range from south of Morgan City, Louisiana, to south of Grand Isle, Louisiana. A typical trip departs from either Cocodrie or Dularge. Like I said above, our area covers many miles and with all this area, comes an abundance of fish.

South Louisiana Duck Hunting

Ellender Charters offers duck hunting in the beautiful marshes of Terrebonne Parish. Terrebonne Parish's waters are fed from the Atchafalaya River. This abundance of fresh water makes Terrebonne Parish's marshes thrive with vegetation, as well as, wildlife.

Fishing License

A fishing license is required for each person sixteen years of age and older who wants to fish. Louisiana offers a three day resident or non-resident charter fishing license for $10.00 plus a handling fee. There are several ways to obtain a fishing license prior to your fishing trip.

What Do I Need To Bring?

You are encouraged to bring a cap or hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, rain gear, soft soled non-marking shoes (preferably deck shoes, flip flops, crocs, or tennis shoes), food, drinks, ice chest to take your catch home, a camera, and a fishing license.
